Unwanted births avoided in 2 years
In July, 2020, we asked our friends and donors to help us with this project in the community of San Luis in San Pedro Ayampuc, Guatemala. Our goal was to spay & neuter 100 animals, but, thanks to some generous donations, our partner organization Guaus y Miaus Guatemala surpassed this goal for a total of 126 snipped animals.
Guaus y Miaus initially found that many animals were neglected and in poor health. No animal ngo had ever visited this community before and the need for veterinary services was huge. With a lot of hard work, GyM helped improve the living conditions of the community animals and, even though we still have a long road ahead of us, we are very pleased with what we were able to accomplish so far.
Once again a huge Gracias! from all the furry wanderers to our donors and to Guaus y Miaus Guatemala for a job well done!
